Witnesses told police that 34-year-old Glenn Jeffries was also injured in the fire at his home in Jefferson Township, Fayette County, yesterday morning.

His 11-month-old daughter, Cathy Ann, has burns over much of her body and is in critical condition. Police believe Jeffries might have been burned, too, before he fled.

Jeffries pleaded no contest to third-degree murder for helping his get rid of a dismembered murder victim in 1997. He was sentenced to five years in prison and, since December, has been charged and sought by police on warrants for receiving stolen property and drug possession.

Saving his little girl doesn’t make this dirtbag a “hero”. He’s still a wanted felon. He gets no praise from me til he’s behind bars. However, I am very happy the little girl didn’t perish. At least the monster would save his own blood, even if he is a sociopathic POS.
