Residents of Sweetbriar Street Torn Over Bus Service

The noise from idling buses along Sweetbriar Street prompted Mount Washington resident George Janusz to park his car so the buses couldn't turn around.

He said he has asked the Port Authority to deal with the noise and got no response.

Since Janusz legally parked his car bus service was rerouted.  That has caused headaches for others in the neighborhood.

Pittsburgh City councilwoman Theresa Kail-Smith is now trying to resolve the problem

by asking for no parking signs to be placed along Sweetbriar Street where Janusz has thus far parked legally.
