The Canadiens defeat The Pittsburgh Penguins In Game 7

Pittsburgh is in shock tonight, after the Montreal Canadiens ended the 2009 Stanley Cup Champion's season, with a 5-2 win in game 7. Pittsburgh out-shot Montreal 39-20, but that didn't matter, as the Canadiens upset another Stanley Cup favorite.

The Penguin's only two goals game from Chris Kunitz and Jordan Staal in the second period. Marc-Andre Fleury gave up 4 of the Canadien's 5 goals, before backup goalie Brent Johnson replace him mid-way through the 2nd period.

This is the final Penguins game at Mellon Arena. The Montreal Canadiens were also the first team to play the Pittsburgh Penguins in Mellon Arena, winning 2-1 on October 11th 1967.
