Missing Teen Sends Father Distressed Text

Baldwin police and the FBI are searching for a 17-year-old girl who sent a text message to her father - asking for help. Baldwin Police Chief Mike Scott said Kaitlyn Novak was last seen on Friday when she told her father she was spending the weekend at a friend's house.

When she didn't show up for school on Monday, her father called the police. The girl is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches, 210 pounds, with shoulder-length, sandy blonde hair. She was last seen wearing blue capri pants and a white shirt and a white tote bag with "Candies" written on it.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
