If you’re looking for a sure-fire comedy recipe try this, Write a hilarious script about two loser detectives sitting on the sideline as the super-cop heroes tear up the town, grab all the headlines, girls and glory. Spice it up with a brilliant cast that includes Will Farrell in one of his best performances as of late, Mark Walberg pulling down of one of his most believable assignments ever and add a dash of Samuel Jackson, Dwayne Johnson and Eva Mendes. Mix well with chuckle till it hurts action and sit back and watch while everyone that watches laughs until they cry.
Ferrell and director Adam McKay are no strangers to successful comedy having teamed up on Stepbrothers, Talladega Nights and Anchorman. The Other Guys is better and funnier than all of them. When Allen Gamble (Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Walberg) get a chance to hit the streets and show what they can do this buddy-cop farce races through the city streets action, jokes and a chemistry I guarantee your going to love.
