Lynn Swann Talks Football with Seibel and Starkey

Lynn Swann joined Seibel and Starkey to discuss the Pittsburgh Power as they prepare for their inaugural season that opens on March 11, 2011 at the Consol Energy Center, as well the 2010 edition of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  The Pittsburgh Power recently held an open try-out, and Lynn told the guys that they had close to 300 guys come out for the team.

Lynn also weighed in on the NFL's new rules on helmet-to-helmet hits saying this type of thing has been going on in the NFL for a long time, and football is a violent sport where catastrophic hits will take place regardless of the rules in place.

Lynn talked about the hardest hit he ever took, and joked that it came from the IRS in the form of the $75,000 that was taken out of his salary.

The guys wrapped things up with Lynn by asking him about Hines Ward Hall of Fame credentials, to which Lynn said without a doubt, Hines Ward is a Hall of Famer for everything he has accomplished as well as changing the way the position is played.
