Penguins' Malkin Misses Practice

One of the Penguins' superstars was noticeably absent from practice this morning following Wednesday night's tough loss to the Boston Bruins.

After twice leaving the game with an apparent knee injury, 93-7FM The Fan's Jeff Hathhorn reports that center Evgeni Malkin did not practice with the team.

The Penguins built up a two goal lead in the second period against Boston only to watch it disappear in the third.

The Bruins' Nathan Horton, Zdeno Chara, Shawn Thornton, Blake Wheeler and Milan Lucic all scored in the third period in the 7-4 win.

Malkin left the game twice, but returned both times.
