Penn State Receives Intent From 3 Star Recruits

STATE COLLEGE (KDKA/AP) - Penn State's basketball team will be replacing their front court with newly-signed recruits  next season.

Two of the front court recruits, Patrick Ackerman and Peter Alexis, both six-feet-11-inches tall, will be replacing outgoing seniors Andrew Jones, Jeff Brooks and David Jackson.

Penn State also received letters from forward Ross Travis, of Chaska, Minn., and guard Trey Lewis, from Garfield Heights, Ohio.

Ackerman and Travis are top high school recruits with a three-star rating from Rivals.com.
