Woman Injured After Jumping From Moving Car On I-70

SOUTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Interstate 70 in Washington County is open Monday morning after a woman was injured Sunday night in a freak accident.

According to police, the woman apparently jumped out of a moving car in South Strabane Township around 6:40 p.m.

She suffered extensive head injures and was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

The woman and her fiancé, 37-year-old Samuel Steinmiller, were arguing.

Steinmiller was taken into custody and faces DUI charges.

    There are places for those in an abusive relationship to get help.Its a shame when one is being abused n feels the best answere is to bring harm to themselves.
