NEW CASTLE (KDKA) – Two people were injured in an ATV accident in Lawrence County Monday night.

The two victims were thrown about 15-to-20 feet down an embankment as they were riding their ATV in New Castle near the Paper Mill Bridge.

The victims have been identified as 17-year-old Dakota Clingensmith and 18-year-old Daniel Hookway.

Rescue crews had to hoist them up the side of the hill and there is no word on the extent of their injuries.
