Gas Leak Prompts Early Dismissal

Some students in a local school district got to go home from school early today after a gas leak.

Officials in the Montour School District evacuated students in the high school after a construction company reportedly hit a gas line nearby.

The incident did not happen on school property, but officials dismissed students in the high school as well as sixth graders around 11 a.m. as a precaution.

No one suffered any injuries.

NO ONE hit a gas line…. If the reporters actually did their job of reporting and investigating thoroughly BEFORE publishing misinformation, they would have found out that there was NO leak… and that it was indeed a NORMAL occurrence in the pipeline industry.

There was no gas liine hit. I have a friends that works for that company. Just cleaning out an old gas line that’s all. Always has to be something big with these news channels.
