HAZMAT Crews Called To Fayette Co. Accident

FAYETTE CITY (KDKA) – HAZMAT crews were called to the scene of a Fayette County accident Wednesday morning after a tri-axle vehicle overturned.

According to emergency dispatchers, the accident happened in the 300-block of Fording Street in Fayette City shortly before 8 a.m.

The truck was leaking fuel, prompting the HAZMAT team to be called to the scene.

Route 201 was closed due to the accident, but has since reopened.

There are no reported injuries at this time.
