Man Convicted Of Sexual Assault Sentenced In Court

By: Harold Hayes

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Penn Hills man who earlier this year was found guilty in the sexual assault of three young girls was sentenced today in court.

Michael Lipinski, 40, was sentenced to 90 to 180 years in jail.

Back in September, a jury found Lipinski guilty.

During victim impact statements made today in court, a victim who was 9-years-old at the time of the incident, and is now 12, said, “I hope he gets raped every day in prison.”

Investigators say DNA evidence was critical to the case and linked Lipinski to the crime.

In September, the prosecutor told the jury that Lipinski was the only person on this planet who could have done it.

In 2009, Lipinski was serving a five to 12 year sentence for three unrelated sexual assault cases.
