Pitt's Brown Previews Big East-SEC Invitational

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Pitt men's basketball forward Gilbert Brown talked to Jim Colony before the Big East/SEC Invitational this weekend.

Brown said it's not all about Pitt this weekend, but rather wins for the Big East Conference.

He says he plans to cheer on the conference's teams, but only when they are not up against his own. That's because a good showing will help to make the conference stronger.

Rutgers is one of those teams that will be in action this weekend, and Brown offered some thoughts on their new head coach Mike Rice.

He also said that as long as his Panthers play their game, they have enough depth to beat just about any team.
