Memorial Fund Set Up In Honor Of Basketball Coach

McCANDLESS (KDKA) - Funeral plans have been made and a memorial fund has been set up as the La Roche College community continues to grieve the loss of their beloved basketball coach.

Head coach Scott Lang collapsed during practice Friday evening and later passed away at a nearby hospital.

A memorial service has been planned for Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. in Kerr Fitness Center on the college's campus.

Visitation will then be held on Saturday, Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon. The funeral service will then be held at noon at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in the North Hills.

Lang was in his 14th year as head coach at La Roche.
