NEW BEAVER (KDKA) – Authorities are investigating following a fatal accident Sunday in Lawrence County.

According to officials, a woman lost control of her car on a Turnpike overpass in New Beaver.

The vehicle ended up going off the overpass, through a parking lot and a fence, and into a yard on Beaver Dam Road before crashing into a tree.

The woman died at the scene.

Her name has not yet been released.
