Police Officer Injured In Hanover Township
HANOVER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A police officer was rushed to the hospital Thursday night after being assaulted.
It happened in Hanover Township near Devil's Den Road and Steubenville Pike.
Officials say that several police officers and paramedics rushed to the scene after getting reports of an "officer down."
When they arrived, they found the officer with a broken leg. It is not clear how he was assaulted.
We are told the officer's injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
