UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Washington County Saturday morning.

According to the Washington County Coroner’s Office, Ryan Benson, 26, was ejected from his vehicle on Garvin Road in Union Township around 4:15 a.m.

Benson reportedly lost control of his car, crossed the center line, hit a hillside which caused the vehicle to roll over.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Coroner’s Office reports that Benson died from blunt force trauma to the head.

There is no word on what caused Benson to lose control of the vehicle at this time.
