PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- One person was shot in Pittsburgh's Observatory Hill neighborhood.

Witnesses tell KDKA-TV the shots came from Wabana Street. The victim was able to get to a crossing guard who called 911.

"I heard three pops – bam, bam, bam!" a witness said. "And then I looked out my window and somebody ran into that house … and within 10 minutes the cops were here."

Pittsburgh police say the man was shot in the head and in the leg. A man identifying himself as the victim's brother said he didn't know how serious the wounds are.

The shooting victim is now at the hospital.
