Prowler Spotted In Cecil Township

CECIL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Police are warning neighbors in Cecil Township about a prowler.

The man apparently has been looking into homes where young girls reside.

Police say a teenager girl and her parents called 911 last Thursday after they caught a man looking through their living room window.

Neighbors say they plan to be on the lookout.

"Definitely going to spread the word to my neighbors and if I do see anything unusual, I am going to call the police," David Brink said.

Police say there have been three prowler incidents since late November in the area of Hickory Grade Road and Cecil Henderson Road.

In each case, a teenage girl lived at the home.

"Right now the only thing we have is possibly a white male," Cecil Township Police Detective Mark Marcucci said. "One description given, he was possibly chubby. Secondly, he was wearing a ski mask on the last incident."

There have been reports of prowlers in Bridgeville and South Fayette also.
