Pens' Website Tops Among U.S. Teams
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Penguins' dominance on the ice has translated into cyberspace.
According to a press release from the team, the Penguins' website was ranked first among United States-based NHL teams based on traffic numbers.
Including teams based in Canada, the Penguins' website ranked third overall in the league. Pittsburgh was the only United States team to crack the top four.
Numbers were compiled during a five-month period from July to November.
During that time, the website averaged over 816,000 unique visitors
In November, the website had over six million page views and over 950,000 unique visitors.
