3 Steelers Tops In Pro Bowl Voting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) - The fans voted and now the National Football League has released the final totals.

Fan voting for the Pro Bowl, which accounts for one-third of the selection process, ended on Monday. Players and coaches vote Wednesday and Thursday with the final Pro Bowl roster revealed on Tuesday of next week.

Three Pittsburgh Steelers, James Harrison, Troy Polamalu and Keyaron Fox have received the most fan votes for their positions.

Harrison received 411,600 votes for the outside linebacker position. He would be lined with Baltimore Ravens inside linebacker Ray Lewis who received 412,827 votes.

Polamalu received a total of 326,155 votes for the strong safety position. He will also be starting in the backfield with another Raven, Ed Reed. Reed received the most votes for free safety position.

Fox received a total 121,057 votes for the special teams position.

The NFL said there was a record 98.59 million fan votes cast. There were 89.52 million votes cast on NFL.com, 8.50 million votes on wireless phones and 570,000 votes on Facebook.

The Pro Bowl is set for Jan. 30 in Honolulu.
