PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – In observance of the Christmas holiday, there are some closings and adjustments today.

All federal, state, county and municipal offices, as well as banks and many private businesses will be closed.

U.S. Post Offices will be open but with shortened hours. State liquor stores will close by 6 p.m.

While the Port Authority will be operating on a normal schedule today, bus, rail and the Mon Incline will follow holiday schedules on Saturday.

There will not by any changes in trash or recycling collection in the city of Pittsburgh.
