PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It’s going to be a chilly holiday as the cold weather hangs on for both Christmas Eve and Christmas weekend.

Meteorologist Dennis Bowman says there will be some light flurry activity today with no accumulation and a high of 30.

As for tonight, he says that there should be no problems getting out and about for holiday travelers with cloudy skies and a low of 22.

For Christmas Day, some light snow and flurries could give us a coating to an inch of accumulation. Bowman says the high will reach 31.

There will be some light snow for Sunday as well with a high of 29.

Bowman also says that we are on course to be the 10th coldest December on record with an average temperature of 24.78 degrees.
