Therrien: Crosby Leads By Example
Former Penguins head coach Michel Therrien joins the Fan Morning Show to talk about the Winter Classic at Heinz Field on New Year's Day. Therrien, who coached the Pens in the first Winter Classic in Buffalo, shared his thoughts on how the coaches and players prepared for the outdoor game.
He said, this has become a great tradition in the NHL and has a similar feeling to the Super Bowl.
Therrien, a scout for the Minnesota organization, talks about the dominance of Sidney Crosby in the NHL this season. He said, Crosby is just getting started and in about three or four years it will be amazing how good he is.
Crosby is obviously the leader on the ice, and Therrien tells us why he made him the youngest captain in the NHL.
