MOUNT PLEASANT TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – An elderly woman lost her life in a Washington County Fire late Wednesday evening.

According to emergency dispatchers, the fire broke out on Brown Street in Mount Pleasant Township around 11 p.m.

The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Pamela Arnold.

Arnold was found in the bedroom of the home. Her husband was not home at the time of the fire and there are no other reported injuries in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
