Greensburg Mother Allegedly Left 2-Year-Old Home Alone
GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- Greensburg police are investigating why a mother left her young child home alone while she went to the store.
Neighbors called police to the Autumn Brook Apartments on Route 819 on Tuesday after seeing the two-year-old girl playing with trash in the hallway.
Police say the mother left the girl at home while she and her two-year-old son went to Walmart. Police say the hallway where the child was found was not heated.
Police anticipate filing charges against the mother, but for now the investigation continues.
