PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Authorities have located a missing veteran, but officials still have questions about the disappearance of he and another vet.

Edward Devlin, 73, was located this morning at a Pittsburgh hotel. Officials say that he was alert and in good health.

Devlin had last been seen at the VA Hospital in Aspinwall. He showed up for a doctor’s appointment Wednesday, but never returned to his nursing home in Mt. Lebanon.

Earlier this week, another veteran managed to walk out of an Oakland hospital unnoticed.

Fred Goings, 83, was later found in East Liberty.

The Pittsburgh Veterans Administration is investigating the two incidents.
