Potash: Pens Ready To Get Back To Normal Life

FSN Penguins beat reporter Dan Potash joined the Fan Morning Show to discuss some Penguin hockey.

Potash said that the players enjoyed the festivities of the Winter Classic and the HBO special "24/7," but the team is ready to get back to normal life.  However, it won't be easy with Tampa Bay and Philadelphia having the same amount of points.

Jordan Staal returned to the team in time for the Winter Classic. Potash said there is an adjustment that needs to take place with the return of Staal, but it's a nice problem to have.

It may take a few games to find the right combination for the line Staal will play on. Potash said we shouldn't get used to anything, as coach Dan Bylsma plays a chess game with No. 11 on the ice.

Potash has a job that allows him to see behind the scenes first hand, but he doesn't have the access that HBO was allowed during their filming of "24/7." Potash said it was nice to see things that he doesn't get to see. He thinks the documentary was awesome because it opened up a lot of doors to fans beyond hockey.
