EAST LIBERTY (KDKA) – An apartment building in East Liberty had to be evacuated early this morning after part of the building caught fire.

The building is located in 300-block of North Negley Avenue.

Officials say several people had to be rescued from a balcony above where the fire broke out.

However, authorities say everyone was able to make it out safely.
