State Trooper Injured In Delmont Accident

DELMONT (KDKA) — A state trooper was injured in a car accident in Westmoreland County.

The accident happened in Delmont at the intersection of Routes 66 and 22.

There is no word on the condition of the trooper.

The trooper is from the Greensburg Barracks and he was on-duty at the time of the incident.

Details about the accident have not been released.

    I feel for the state trooper,but I travel RT22 every day and almost every day I PRAY for my LIFE when I come to the intersection because NO ONE ONE YIELDS for yield signs, they give the car or truck and GO out into rte 22 like a bat out of Hell.I complained to a state trooper about this problem and he tole me he could NOT do anything about the problem………Thank you …..

    WHAT REALY HAPPENED ON 22/66, AND HOW IS THE TROOPER. THERE WAS NOTHING ON TV OR IN THE MORNING NEWSPAPERS. ABOUT TWENTY
    MINUTES BEFORE THAT HAPPENED A GIRL WAS STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OT THE INTERSECTION BY KINGS, JUST STOPED AND SHE HADE A GREEN LIGHT. SHE MADE IT UP TO THE TURNOFF FOR 22 WEST AND INTO THE REAR END OF A CAR STOPPED BESIDE ME, WHO HAD A RED LIGHT.
