Woman Killed In Train Accident In Beaver Co.

BIG BEAVER BOROUGH (KDKA) - A woman was killed in Beaver County Saturday when the car she was riding in was hit by a train.

State police say the car's driver, 45-year-old Richard Miller, was heading north on McKinley Road in Big Beaver Borough and didn't see the Norfolk Southern freight train.

According to authorities, Miller's car crossed into the path of the train just before 10 a.m.

His passenger, 36-year-old Robin Miller, of New Galilee, died at the scene.

Richard Miller was taken to a local hospital.

State police say charges are pending and the investigation continues.
