Fans Pack 'Steelers Huddle' Taping At Heinz Field
NORTH SHORE (KDKA) -- Fans waited in line for hours for two tapings of the PNC Steelers Huddle at Heinz Field.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was the special guest.
"When I heard that Ben was going to be here, I had to come," one fan said.
Roethlisberger says Pittsburgh fans are one of a kind.
"Well, my prediction is that this will be the most-watched Super Bowl of all time because obviously the storied tradition – franchises that both the Packers and us have," he said. "But, you know I'm biased. I think we have the best fans in all of sports, so I don't think they can compete."
Fans are counting down to the big game.
"Super Bowl fever, we've all caught it, ready for the game, ready for a win," another fan added.
"I just want the Steelers to win. I just want them to play a good game and win," said another fan. "I don't think Green Bay can beat us – I really don't."
One of the shows taped Wednesday night will air this Saturday. The second show will air the night before the Super Bowl.
