Martin, Orpik Look Forward To All-Star Break

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The NHL All-Star break is underway, but The Fan's Jim Colony caught up with two Penguins defensemen before they left town.

Despite the snow and freezing temperatures, Paul Martin will be heading back to Minnesota.

Martin always looks forward to going somewhere warm during the break, but he has a tradition of playing pond hockey with family and friends.

Brooks Orpik tells Jim that he's heading to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He's hoping for sun and 75 degree weather.

Orpik says he is looking forward to refreshing his mind and body during the All-Star break.

He will not be training during the break and expects his body to hurt at the first practice back; but the time off will make the remainder of the season "seem a lot easier."
