More Snow Falls, Coats Area In White Again

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh area is seeing more snow fall across the region today and the winter weather is once again affecting local roads and some school districts.

Bands of snow are coating the area this morning and also reducing visibilities.

KDKA's Dennis Bowman says that not everyone is seeing snow; but in the Pittsburgh area, we can look for a fast 1/2 inch or so out of the persistent snow bands.

Otherwise, he says we will have a cloudy day with a high of 28.

This evening, the next fast-moving system comes in and is expected to coat the area with up to an inch or so by Friday morning.

Then, additional snow on Friday would put us in a general one to three inch range. Friday's high is expected to be around 34 degrees.

After a quiet afternoon on Friday, more snow is expected very late that night and into Saturday morning, giving us another inch or so of accumulation.

Bowman says to expect Saturday's high to be around 34 degrees.
