Child Found Wandering In Fayette Co.

REDSTONE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A Fayette County mother is expected to be charged with endangering the welfare of a child after her two-year-old daughter wandered away from home twice in one day.

The girl left her home on Park Avenue in Redstone Township Sunday morning and was nearly hit by a car.

The driver of the car returned the child to her home.

Several hours later, the girl got out again and wandered into a neighbor’s yard. She was found by a pizza delivery driver.

“[I] asked her where she was going. She was walking in the neighbors yard, she was cold, crying telling me she needed me to take her to a house. I took her to neighbor’s house where I was making my delivery and told her to call the police,” Adam Pinardi said.

The girl was wearing an unzipped jacket and untied boots. She was not hurt and is now in the custody of her grandparents.

The mother has been identified as Renee Wilczynski.

Dumb mom. Probably on the internet or trying to score her next rock or booty call.

Did this woman ever hear about locking the door or securing it in someway.

we don’t know this woman’s situation so we should be so quick to judge her. maybe it’s something beyond her control, or maybe she is an awful parent…. we have no idea

What would be beyond your control enough that you wouldn’t notice a two year old not being in the house? If you have a toddler, you need to be checking on her constantly or be engaging with her. Twice in one day seems ridiculous. After the first time, the mom should have been watching her like a hawk.

Once is an accident, but TWICE….in ONE day?!?! Ridiculous.

  • Bob

Take the little girl away from her. She obviously is not a capable parent

    Hang HER!!

  • Single DAD

I understand things sometimes happen and mistakes are made. However, twice in one day is a mistake that is inexcusable. I feel badly that she might lose her child over this but she should have kept a better watch on her. At least the little girl is okay.
