Sassy Inc. Recalls Infant Teethers & Rattles

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KDKA) - A voluntary recall has been issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for an infant teether.

According to the CPSC, Sassy Inc.'s Refreshing Rings Infant Teethers/Rattles are being recalled over an ingestion hazard.

The company has received one report of a piece of the toy breaking off while being chewed. No injuries have been reported.

The Kentwood, Mich. company is recalling about 37,000 units that were manufactured in China.
