Shooting Suspect Surrenders In Wilkinsburg

WILKINSBURG (KDKA) – Police in Wilkinsburg say a shooting suspect turned himself in this morning.

Authorities say 45-year-old Charlie Johnson is accused of firing shots at his girlfriend during a domestic situation earlier this week.

According to police, he is accused of pursuing the woman in an SUV.

He allegedly smashed into her vehicle, pulled out a gun and started firing.

The woman was not injured.

Johnson is now in police custody.
