PITTSBURGH — No. 4 Pitt defeated Cincinnati, 71-59, Saturday night without the services of small forward Lamar Patterson and power forward Dante Taylor.

Guard Ashton Gibbs took control of the game early and made up for the lost manpower, scoring 25 points on 7-of-11 shooting and was a perfect 5 for 5 from 3-point range.

Gibbs — along with coach Jamie Dixon and teammates Brad Wanamaker, Gilbert Brown and Gary McGhee — spoke with the media after the game. Here’s what they had to say.
