PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -  The FAN’s Steeler beat reporter Jon Burton caught up with several players after the loss to the Packers in Super Bowl XLV.

Cornerback Ike Taylor said the Packers made enough plays to win the game and Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks at locating a ball on his throws.

Taylor thinks this team has what it takes to bounce back next year and get back to the Super Bowl, but “time will tell.”

Offensive tackle Jonathan Scott talked about the Steelers’ comeback in the second half. He liked how offensive coordinator Bruce Arians decided to start running to the ball in the second half to send a message to the defensive line.

Scott thinks this team has “too much leadership, too much fight, too much resilience” not to make it back to the Super Bowl next season.

Steelers cornerback William Gay is upbeat after the loss to the Packers. Despite losing, he is proud of the organization for overcoming adversity this season.

Being down 21-3, defensive end Ziggy Hood and the defense never had a thought of being out of the game. He said the Steelers threw everything they could at Rodgers, but he was on-point with his quick passes.

I have said it all year, William Gay, Ike Taylor would be the downfall of the
steelers in the super bowl. They are the ones who lost this game for us. They
have no real desire to win. They just go in and play their usual game. I feel so
bad for the steelers, they did not look like a super bowl team. But I have great
expectations for next year. We will be back, and better than ever. No one will
win more rings than us. And Ben, I am so proud of you. Keep your head up
high. This loss was not all your fault.

I am still staying strong for Steelers. They did really good job allthrough the season 2010-2011. #7 is really great tall with all long to do throws……..next season, make sure to practice to do quick throws! No waiting! Come on, man! Also for #43, he is too much for me and I like it, keep remember to be ready and bounce back for 2012 Superbowl, please?!
I am very disppointed how it loss to the Green And Yellow (GAY) Packers but Congrats!
