Former WVU Receiver Signs With Steelers

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Wes Lyons, a former West Virginia Mountaineer wide receiver and Woodland Hills High School graduate, has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Lyons played all four years at West Virginia and finished his career in 2009 with 42 receptions, 517 yards and no touchdowns. Lyons worked out for the Steelers in December.

He told the Tribune-Review, he is blessed to have an opportunity to play for his hometown team.
