This is an outrage, Jim Ellenbogen is an idiot who wants to destroy this business because they are not unionized.. UNIONS SUCK!! This man should be locked up for using the power of his position to destroy this business that is in no way a sweatshop.. Please let him lose to Patti Weaver!!!

Why do Unions Suck? State you facts, DEE?

    • Jeff

they suck because they do more harm than good. Look at Detroit, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh…

  • WHY

Brilliant, let’s put a viable business that employs 100 people out of work because the employees have voted not to unionize.

  • me

made under sweatshop conditions if all of the following eight conditions apply…
http://ecode360.com/?custId=AL1955….read them for yourself….amendment states NOTHING about council being allowed to label W&K a sweat shop. That’s what the union has asked them to do. Have they left themselves open to legal action? If you don’t like where you work, go work somewhere else. The union never plays by the rules….all they’re going for here is to limit a competitor. Sad, but see it for what it is folks!!!!

As the wife of a man who works for this company, and completely loyal to them, I’m happy to see there are people out there who see this for what it actually is!

  • Mike B.

Who has the authority to level abuse of power charges against these county council members?

I’m disgusted by the Council Members who voted in favor of Bill 6190-11… It’s very disheartening to see these members associated with in justice, slander and obvious ‘bullying’ because the unions are so strong in Pittsburgh.

Hey if you’re a non-union company somehow surviving in Pittsburgh, you can make it anywhere.
