Greensburg Man Charged In Fatal Accident

GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- A Greensburg man is facing homicide by vehicle charges in the July 2009 death of his sister.

Matthew Lunn, 49, was taken into custody this afternoon.

On July 29, 2009, police say Lunn is accused of driving under the influence on Route 30 in Unity Township when he hit into another car.

His sister, Kelly Mattocks, and another passenger were both taken to Latrobe Hospital with serious injuries.

Mattocks died on January 4, 2010, as a result of those injuries.

According to a criminal complaint, Lunn was driving without a license at the time of the crash. His license was suspended in May of 2007 because of a previous homicide by vehicle conviction in January 2005.

He is being held in the Westmoreland County Jail on $25,000 straight cash bond.
