Jamie Dixon joined the Seibel, Starkey, and Miller Show on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about the team’s loss to St. John’s over the weekend as well as where they stand in the recent rankings.

Coach Dixon addressed the team’s body of work on the season saying he’s very pleased with the team being in first place in the Big East but there is always room for improvement with any team.

When it comes to the loss at St. John’s on Saturday, Jamie said he obviously would like to have the last play of the game back, but that game just proves that you have to bring your “A” game every night in the Big East.  While on the topic of the St. John’s game, Coach talked about the final play of the game and whether or not St. John’s guard Dwight Hardy stepped out-of-bounds.

Finally, with Ashton Gibbs coming back, Dixon talked about the teams mentality without him, and how it changed with him coming back.
