For those of you, including Mr. High School Sports, who were planning to attend WPIAL Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Playoff games in your area tonight, it should be noted that all games originally scheduled for Tuesday night have been postponed.

All boys’ and girls’ playoff games originally scheduled for Tuesday have been moved to Wednesday, and all games originally scheduled for Wednesday have been moved to Thursday, due to Monday’s snow storm.  Tip-off times and locations remain the same.

Special thanks to the Post-Gazette’s Mike White for the tip; many WPIAL school districts, as he pointed out, have policies that call for the universal cancellation of after-school activities when the school is forced to close due to bad weather, hence the postponements.
