ALIQUIPPA (KDKA) – A soldier from Beaver County has been killed in Afghanistan.

Sgt. Robert Sisson, Jr., from Aliquippa, died Monday in the Kandahar district in what the military is calling a non-combat related incident.

He was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado.

Sisson received several medals, including two Army commendation medals and two Army achievement medals.
