Former Penguin Peter Taglianetti Talks Goligoski Trade

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Peter Taglianetti joined Seibel, Starkey, and Miller on SportsRadio 93-7 The FAN for his weekly segment to talk everything Penguins.

Peter opened things up talking about the team's trade of Alex Goligoski and said it was a great deal because getting Neal James in return gets them size up front, as well as a guy who can go in front of the net and has a big shot.

When it comes to making another move though, Peter thinks the team will wait until the last minute of the deadline in order to get the most up to date report on Sidney Crosby's status as he recovers from a concussion.

One player the team could be targeting for a last-minute move is former Penguin Alex Kovalev, and Peter said Kovalev's style doesn't fit the team's system, but he would still be a great presence on the power play unit because of his big shot.

We wrapped things up with Peter asking him if he could make one change to the NHL, what it would be.
