Smoke Reported At Washinton Co. Natural Gas Well Site

MOUNT PLEASANT (KDKA) – Firefighters were called to a natural gas well drilling site in Washington County Tuesday morning for a report of smoke.

According to officials at the scene, the incident happened at the Mark West Compressor Station on Caldwell Road in Mount Pleasant around 5 a.m.

Range Resources said a worker saw smoke while inspecting a compressor and immediately called 911. There were no flames, but firefighters are standing by to make sure everything is under control.

There are no reported injuries.

    This story is horribly misinformed the owners of the well called 911 after it EXPLODED with a boom that could have woken up the dead Range resource made haste to cover up the truth …Which did not work.
