Analyst: Best Team Dixon Has Had At Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – CBS Sports college basketball analyst Seth Davis joined the FAN Morning Show to talk about Pitt’s chances of receiving a No. 1 seed and advancing deep into the NCAA tournament.

Davis said, “this is the best team Jamie Dixon has had at Pittsburgh.”

He knows Ashton Gibbs is the player that gets all the attention, but he thinks Brad Wanamaker is the key to the team on both ends of the floor.

With the possibility of Pitt receiving a No. 1 seed, Davis thinks Pitt can win at every round of the NCAA tournament, until the Final Four when “all bets are off.”

Davis told the FAN Morning Show, that Pitt’s maturity and experience will help them this year because all the teams in the Top 25 do not have a standout future NBA star.
