HERMITAGE (KDKA) — A worker had to be rescued after falling down a hillside and into a stream in Mercer County.

A county employee was cutting trees in the 4500-block of Sample Road in Hermitage when he fell down about 20-feet.

Emergency rescuers used a basket to pull the worker out of the water.

He was flown by medical helicopter to a local hospital.
